We played with several ideas for Sony Style before we settled on the final format. At first they didn't want to call it Sony Style because of potential confusion with the previous newsstand catalog. So it was Sony Creativity, Sony Idea, Sony Big Idea, Sony Individuality,  then New Sony Style, and finally back to Sony Style with themes of individuality and creativity, among others. This gave me a great opportunity to explore. At first, Sony was afraid that there wouldn't be enough cover ideas, but when I was finished they were sure that we had several years worth of covers! Of course, in the end, we only used one.
